Negotiations are currently underway to include world 100 and 200m champion Usain Bolt, American speedster Tyson Gay, world 400m champion Sanya Richards and Britain’s 400m star Christine Ohuruogu for the fifth staging of the Jamaica International Invitational. The meet is scheduled for Saturday May 1 at the national stadium and will get underway with the high school relay events at 7:00 pm. The ministry of sport has allocated 27-million of the 61.9 million-dollar budget. Plans for the championships were outlined at a press briefing at the Hilton hotel on Tuesday.
