PRESS RELEASE                                                                     November 16, 2007   BOOYAKA LAUNCHES HISTORIC EVENT  Mas Camp, in Kingston, Jamaica, will come “Alive” on Saturday, the first of December with the music of past Reggae Legends.  Booyaka! A new concept in events was launched in style at Devonshire, Devon House on Wednesday, Nov. 14th, with endorsements from BarryG and Luciano. The event, that will feature only music from deceased artiste, has created a new frontier in entertainment.  At Booyaka, history and music will combine to create something that has never been done before in reggae music.  Special guests are veteran Sound Systems who are still making an impact in the business. Black Scorpio, Merritone and Kilamanjaro will provide the music for the main event, while Leroy Sibbles’ Melody One will start things off and build the vibes.  

All roads lead to Mas Camp December 1, as the calibre of music will undeniably be some of the best recordings done in Jamaica.  This unprecedented concept will be the beginning of a great plan for Reggae’s history and its documentation.
